Mrs. Beulah M. Farmer, 79, died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 25, 1975) at the Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a patient since Dec. 4, 1974. She had resided in Danville for 25 years, living on Gilbert and Clarence streets, and had also resided in West Lebanon, Ind. She was a member of the West Lebanon Presbyterian Church, and the Modern Martha Circle of the church. Mrs. Farmer was born Oct. 23, 1895, in Marshfield, Ind., the daughter of William B. and Blanche Cronkhite Ware. She married Cecil "Woody" Farmer, and he died in 1963. Survivors include a son, Elwood `E.J.' Farmer of Danville, a sister, Glendora Kensell of High Point, N.C.; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter. Two brothers preceded her in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. William Chalmers will officiate, and burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
